"Sweet Thangs has always been something that I wanted to create since I was young. I've always been the type to eat sweets all the time and anytime. I went to school to get my associate's degree in pastry arts, then moved to the culinary hub, NYC to work hands on with Michelin Star chefs.

I wanted to make my cookies 'Texas Sized', paying tribute to my Southern roots. But I also wanted my culinary background to come through with the sweet yet salty, crunchy and gooey aspect of the cookie.
